Live discussion: closing the gender gap for a more resilient world

Ahead of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, our friends at the excellent website are hosting an expert panel to discuss how achieving parity between women and men would boost the resilience of societies and economies in the face of modern-day pressures.

This will be streamed live on Zilient’s Facebook page:

Despite progress on women’s rights in a growing number of countries, the WEF’s 2017 report found the global gender gap had widened for the first time since 2006 and remains stubbornly large on economic participation and political empowerment.

Join Zilient to hear insights and recommendations from the report, and our panel’s views on why stronger representation for women in business is vital to meet the Sustainable Development Goals. Why is gender parity under threat, and what must be done to speed up efforts towards it?
